Jesus is Praying for Me

Text: "Christ Jesus, who died --more than that, who was raised to life --is at the right hand of God and is interceding for us" Romans 8:34.

I am a strong believer in "helping" prayer that comes from other Christians and is directed toward me. When I have ministry scheduled, I seek to make sure that our Prayer Band is informed so that they can pray. (You will find them at www.kneillfoster.com. Please join them, if you wish.)

But there have been those sudden times when I have been thrust into sudden ministry with no recourse to my helpers. In those times of stress and spiritual need, I cry out, "Lord Jesus, pray for me." Wonderfully and powerfully, that is exactly what seems to happen. "He ever lives to make intercession for us."

When we are alone, especially, without recourse to human help, we may rely upon Him. I find this a most enjoyable part of the Christian life.
